三、靓句法

1.  weak: a. 软弱的,能力弱的(通常形容一个体力不够,身体虚弱,也可以形容一个人在某一科目,某一领域上的能力不足)

You're so weak,even my grandmother can lift it.

你太逊了,连我奶奶都能提起他.

Bobby is weak in maths.

波比的数学很差

2. trash talk: v.说别人坏话

when he is mad, he trash talks everything.

当他不高兴的时候，什么话都骂得出口。

3.pain in the neck: n. 烦恼，痛处 pain in the butt=pain in the ass

This new project is a pain in the neck.

这个新计划真让我烦恼呀.

4.pervert: n.变态 v.使反常

The way Bobby looks at me is really perverted.

波比看我的眼神真是够变态。

The man next door is real pervert, he always stares at me whenever I walk by.

住我隔壁的那个人真变态,每次我走过,他都盯着我.

5.get paid:v. 得到薪酬  ＝ get one's salary

I see that you bought yourself a new car, how much do you get paid?

我看你买了一辆新车,你一个月拿多少钱薪水?

How much do you get paid?

你一个月拿多少钱薪水.

6.miss: vt. 错过，想念（任何没赶上，没达成的事情均可用）

I missed the work for three days，because i was sick.

我三天没工作了，因为我病了.

7.rival:a.竞争的 n. 能与....匹敌的对手（可以表示）  quota: n. 业绩

The rival departments are in a race to increase their sales before the month's  end.

各部门在月底争相提高业绩．

8.nine to five：a. 朝九晚五的

I don't like nine to five kind of job.

我不喜欢朝九晚午的工作．

9.quit：放弃，辞职   resign:v. 放弃，辞职　(适用于一般高管职位的人辞职)

Bobby quits his part-time job, because he is going back to school.

波比因为即将复学,辞去他的兼职.

9.bonus: n. 红利，赠品，奖品

Everyone received/got a big bonus, because the company made a lot of money.

由于公司赚了很多钱，所有人都拿了一大笔奖金
